TNU Finale Update #3!
Hey guys. I'm here with another update. I have
good and bad news. The bad news is that I haven't made much progress
since the last update. It was the end of the school year and finishing
essays and studying for final exams was taking up a lot of my time.
However, (the good news), is that I finished the school year yesterday
and am now on summer vacation. So I have a LOT more free time. I plan to
work on the TNU video a lot today, and I expect it to be 85-90% done by
the end of the day. I apologize for taking so long, but I am at least
slowly making progress. It shouldn't be too much longer until it is
uploaded at this point. Thank you for being patient.

TNU Finale Update #2!
Sorry, but the video is not finished yet. I
have made a lot of progress, but there is a lot of work involved, which
is why it isn't finished yet. I am going to work on it a bit today.
After I do so, it should be about 70% done.
I know it is taking awhile, but I am making progress. If it was summer vacation, it would be finished by now. I have a had a lot of schoolwork these past couple of weeks due to the school year wrapping up. I'm not going to give you a release date, because I really don't know when I will finish it. It shouldn't be too much longer though.
Thank you for your patience!

TNU Finale Update!
The video is not complete yet, but I have
slowly been working on it. I made a lot of progress today. I would the
video is about 30% done at this point. I know that doesn't sound like
much, but if I work on it a lot this upcoming week I could probably get
that number up to 60%. I hope to get the video up by the end of May, but
who knows how busy I could get.
I just wanted to update you guys so you know that I am working on it and haven't forgotten about it. XD

TNU Finale: Round 5 Complete!
TNU Finale: Round 5 Complete!
Sandile: Both of you guys have completed the final challenge! I was slightly worried that one of you wouldn't complete it, but I am glad to see that that didn't happen. The two of you have now done every challenge! Even if you end up losing, be proud that you were able to complete every challenge and make it is this far! This camp has been going on for nearly three years, and you guys both persevered until the end!
Toad: I won't be telling you the winner yet. As I did with TPI, I will be preparing a long Finale video for everyone who participated in the camp to watch. It will probably be over 10 minutes long, so it will take me a little while to make. I'm not sure how long it will take, but I will try to work on it as much as I can during the next few weeks. I will give you updates during my progress of the video so you can have an idea how much longer it will take.
Sandile: I hope you are looking forward to the Finale video of Total Nintendo Universe!

TNU Finale: Round 5 (Final Round)
Sandile: Seeing this message,
you are probably assuming that Popo won Round 4. However, that is not
necessarily the case. I am not going to tell you who won this round
until the Finale video. (It was pretty close though, I will say.)
Toad: After the message for Round 4 was sent out, I realized that if Pikachu won Round 4, then Popo would know he lost as soon as the Finale video was uploaded. This would cause the Finale video to be anticlimactic. I then decided that I would not reveal the winner of Round 4, and no matter who won, I would send out another challenge.
Sandile: Has Pikachu already won? Or is Popo still hanging on? Only I know the answer to that! Now here is the final challenge of Total Nintendo Universe:
Give me your thoughts on TNU! Yup, the final challenge is as simple as that . Just give me your thoughts! Your only guidelines are to make sure your responses are heartfelt and honest! Should you write a few sentences, or perhaps a whole page? Should you describe all of your experiences in great detail? Or should you give me a list of what you liked and what you didn't like about the camp? All of this is up to you.
The player whose response I enjoyed the most will be the winner of the challenge. I am looking forward to seeing what you two do when receiving such little guidelines.
Your response will be your last "confessional", so be prepared for everyone who watches the Finale video to read it.
Toad: There is one final catch! If one of you do not complete this challenge, you automatically lose! So if Pikachu has already won, he could potentially be giving away his victory if he is inactive for this last challenge. (I will give plenty of time and warnings when I am about to end it, so I doubt this will happen.)
Also, the challenge will end before the video is released. I will send you a message once both of you have completed the challenge (or time has run out) telling you that the winner is official. The Finale video will then be uploaded within a few weeks revealing the winner to everyone.
You shouldn't have any questions, but if you do, ask them. I will answer if it is something I am able to answer. (BTW, I would tell if you if I was unable to answer your question, and not just give you no response. So if I am not responding, I am simply busy and just haven't checked my Youtube yet.)
Sandile: Good luck! It has been honor being your host, and I look forward to creating the last video.
Toad: This has been a long, but fun ride. And it is almost complete! So get going!

TNU Finale: Round 4
Sandile: Round 3 is complete! Here are how the mushrooms were...
Pikachu:
Bright red, spotted mushroom. The spots are yellow. Normal eye expression. (Poison)
Purple mushroom, green spots. This one has no eyes, unlike usual Mario mushrooms. (Good)
Popo:
Green mushroom with black spots. The eyes on this one look angry. (Poison)
Dark red mushroom, no spots. Normal eye expression. (Good)
Toad: Both of you chose the good mushrooms! However...
Pikachu responded first. Therefore, he wins Round 3!
Sandile: Pikachu, if you win one more round, you win TNU! Popo, you are gonna have to win two straight if you don't want to take second place!
Toad: The next challenge is fairly simple. It has three factors. Speed will be a factor, but it isn't all that is necessary to win the challenge.
For the challenge, I want you to tell me your favorite video game of all time. (If you can't decide, then tell me what one of your favorites is). Tell me the title (obviously), what genre the game is, what system it is on, what the game is like, and why you love it so much. For the reason why you love it, give me at least three or four sentences. (Tell me what about the game you love, or a memory you have playing the game, etc.)
Sandile: Here is your rubric:
Game title: 1 point
Game genre(s): 1 point
Game System(s) it is on: 1 point (You don't have to mention remakes. Just tell me what system(s) the original was on.)
Game description: 3 points
Why do you love the game so much?: 5 points
Spelling/Grammar: 2 points
Speed: 2 points (The first to complete it gets 2 points. The second person will either get 1 or 0 depending on how long it takes them).
The first three are easy points. Get everything right, and you will get full credit. The last four are the most important.
For the game description: tell me what the game is like. Is it a short retro sidescroller with catchy music? Or is it an open-world fantasy game? Just give me a sentence or two in this category.
Why you love the game so much is the most important part. This is where I will be the most strict. A response saying, "I liked the story and graphics." will get a low score. Several sentences on why you love it so much and any nostalgia you feel is what I'm looking for. You will get a good score if I can really tell how much you love the game from your response.
Keep your spelling/grammar as good as you can. If it is readable and nearly everything is spelled correctly, you will get full-credit. (Especially make sure the game's title is spelled right!)
Speed is also fairly important. Even if you don't respond first, try to respond within the first couple of days of me sending it out to get at least a 1.
Sandile: It is a 15-point scale, so the person with the most points will win! If you both tie, the person who I think did a better job in the "Why I love the game so much" category will be the player who wins.
Toad: This could potentially be the final challenge, so good luck! Put all of your effort into this! You are both great players, so I expect this to be close!
Sandile: I was very happy that both of you participated last challenge. I wanted this to be an exciting finale, and it looks as if that is how it is going to be!
Toad: Please give confessionals! Since this could be it, I want one final confessional from the both of you!
Sandile: Good luck! Like always, if you have any questions, ask away! :D
