This challenge is based on gift-giving! The 12 players who are not in the Bottom 5 will be given a gift that they must give away to another player. The five players in the Bottom 5 will be given TWO gifts that they must give away to TWO different players. You guys may choose to give your gifts to whoever you please. The catch is that some of these aren't really "gifts". 12 of the "gifts" will actually cause the receiver to lose money!

Sandile: Here is your first challenge for the merge!

Kazuo Hirai (CEO of Sony) is going after you and trying to kill you. All 20 of you are running and there are two exits. You must choose either or Exit 1 or 2.

One is rigged with explosives and locks when you enter it, and the other is safe and filled with money. So pick one! Anyone who enters the explosive exit will lose $50. Anyone who enters the money-filled exit will gain $15.

Toad: That's it! It's simple, so I expect participation. If you do not complete the challenge you will lose $50, so you might as well try and win the $15! :P

I urge you to sign the below petition (and share it with your friends) to get Youtube to change it's comment section back to normal. It is completely atrocious and has ruined the site. I can't reply to certain comments, I cannot thumb up certain comments, I am seeing even more spam, the comments are completely disorganized, and there are no clear-cut top comments. Oh, and we are now being forced to have a Google+ account in order to comment. I usually don't ask you guys to do these types of things, but I am doing so this time because we all use this site and I believe that 99% hate, or at least dislike, this horrific update to one of the most important features of the site. I have seen some bad changes in the past, but this one is completely disgusting. I'm sick of this Google+ crap getting shoved down my throat. I don't want to use that stupid site, and I shouldn't be forced to use it if I don't have to. This crap needs to end.

Sandile: You may notice that the players are listed in order of having the most amount of money to the least amount of money. If you were in my TPI, you would know that in the merge I used a point system. Well in this camp, money will be used instead of points. For every elimination (up until at least the Final 10) the 5 players with the lowest amount of money will be up for the elimination. The players not in the Bottom 5 will vote from those 5 players. 3 players will leave during this elimination, 2 will be voted out in the next three eliminations, and in the final one before the Final 10, one more player will be eliminated from the Bottom 5. Once 10 players remain, this money ranking system will most likely end.

Toad: Now, how will you earn money? By completing challenges. I said earlier that you don't need to do the challenges. But if you want to stay out of the Bottom 5, you're gonna want to! Different players will earn more or less money depending on how well they do.

You will also be able to sell the passes that you still have for half their price. But don't just go sell-happy. Those passes you own could be very important in the future. Since the Nintendo Shop is closed, every pass is precious. So consider carefully before you sell a pass.

Sandile: I won't be sending out the challenge quite yet. I want more time to think of a good challenge instead of just rushing one out. But I figured I would get this introduction out of the way. Plus, I want you guys to be able to ask me any questions you may have before I send out a challenge.

Toad: After sending out two challenge reminders, I was able to get the amount of players who missed the challenge to two. I don't know why it took some of you so long, but I was at least able to get most of you to do it. (One of the players who didn't do it is quitting).

Sandile: Team Warp Star is safe after having every player complete the challenge. So unless something weird happens with passes, you eight are safe.

Team Triforce got second place. However, Blue Toad/darkknigh11 is quitting. So you guys do not have to vote anyone off either. (Yellow Toad is still in the game, which means that both Blue Toad and Yellow Toad both almost made the merge! I think that proves how capable toadstools are! XD)

Team Screw Attack got third place. They must vote off two players. I'm expecting to see a lot of pass usage from that team, since I'm sure all eight of them want to make the merge.

You can give me a summary of what has happened with you, describe your relations with other camp members, etc. You can write as much as you want, but I will only mark the challenge as complete if you write me three paragraphs (At least 5 sentences a paragraph). Any less and you will receive zero credit, and most likely be eliminated.

2. I gave out two final Team Switch Passes (Secret Pass) to random players. They were Dark Link/MegaPixarFan, and Silver/lucariopokemon1. They have switched teams. So now Dark Link is on Team Triforce and Silver is on Team Warp Star.

Sandile: Sorry for the wait. I had to wait an extra day to send this out due to YouTube maintenance. First off, I will give my opinion on Virtual Reality gaming, as I said I would in the challenge message:

I'm kind of controversial about the idea. It sounds cool in theory. I mean hey, who wouldn't want to experience of being in a video game at least ONCE. Being able to walk through a fantasy world and kill monsters, and (hopefully) not having to worry about dying in real life. But there are just too many bad things about it... I could see a lot of people becoming too absorbed in these games (especially if they became like the way they are in Sword Art Online, not just seeing in a first person view, but actually being able to touch and taste in the game) and losing track of time. Some people would spend HOURS inside these virtual reality worlds and start to forget about their real life. And then there would be the people that would kill people in the game, and transfer it to real life. I don't really think Call of Duty can affect people that badly (at if they are sane), but killing people in Virtual Reality would feel too realistic, and it could mess people up. I also don't want regular games to die out. Certain genres such as turn-based RPGs and platformers wouldn't fit in well as a Virtual Reality game. But I still think it's too early to form a concrete opinion. Because Virtual Reality is still taking its baby steps. I still see REAL Virtual Real as something that won't happen for a little while. So I'd rather just wait and see what happens then form some big opinion and stand by it.

I am especially happy considering the fact that this challenge actually required you to type a little, and not just give me two sentences.

Some players could have written a little more, but no one wrote such a low amount that I couldn't give full credit.

Sandile: You may be wondering how I decided which team earned which ranking. I decided to give first place to Team Triforce since they were the first to have every player complete the challenge. Next was Team Warp Star, and last was Screw Attack. So Team Triforce is safe, Team Warp Star must vote off one, and Team Screw Attack must vote off two players. **Warp Star Members: Make sure you vote TWO players, or your vote will not count!**

Toad: I was originally planning on giving you guys the order in which the players on your team completed the challenge. But I decided not to, as some of the early send-ins didn't have as much effort as some of the later ones. So I thought it would be unfair for someone who was the last to do it but did an amazing job got bombarded with votes.

Plus, I wanted this to be a close elimination. There will be a lot of them in the merge, so you better get used to them now!

Sandile: Lately I have been watching an anime called "Sword Art Online". This show involves virtual reality gaming, and it has got me thinking. Virtual Reality gaming used to be just some crazy, futuristic idea. But it's starting to become a reality. (The Oculus Rift will be a Virtual Reality system, but I honestly know little to nothing about it.)

So for this challenge I want you to answer a question:

"What do you think of Virtual Reality gaming?"

Do you like the idea of it? Hate it? Are you interested in playing virtual reality video games? What are the positives and negatives to Virtual Reality gaming?

So just give me at least a couple of paragraphs about it. Please don't just write something like this:

"I think it sounds cool, I would buy it."

I actually wanna hear your full-out opinion. Not just a sentence saying it sounds cool.

I'm gonna grade simply this challenge. If you put effort into your answer, you will be marked as completing the challenge. If you write me two effortless sentences, you will be marked as only half-completing it, and you will only get $5 instead of the usual $10.

I was visiting family this week, so that gave me less time to grade challenges. Because of this, I decided to delay the challenge by a couple days. Because of this delay, I decided to not send any challenge reminders. Now here are the challenge results:

Sandile: Overall, I'm kind of disappointed. Six people missed the challenge. I'm sure if I sent a reminder, that number would've been down to one or two. But I shouldn't have to send any reminders at this point in the game. If you get the challenge late at night, or at a time when you are busy, all you have to do is send yourself a message, or email yourself, or do SOMETHING to remind yourself to do the challenge. I wish more of you would've taked advantage of the fact that I gave a few extra days.

Toad: Only one player on Team Screw Attack missed the challenge. But no one on Warp Star missed the challenge. This is because some people on Warp Star gave a little less effort than those on Team Screw Attack. Team 1-Up only had three of their five players do the challenge, but the three who did it did a stellar job. Sadly, getting third place didn't help than anymore than getting fourth would have. As they will drop down to four players and then disband after this elimination. So if you are on Team 1-Up, start to say goodbye to your teammates, as they may not be with you when you are forced to join another team. Finally, Team Triforce performed the poorest, with three players missing the challenge. They have performed better in the past, so let's hope they don't reach below five players and disband a well. Luckily for them, a couple players from 1-Up will join them after this elimination, so they should be OK.

HP - Help Pass - Get a hint on a luck or quiz challenge (x3, $8)
CP - Collab Pass - Collaborate with a teammate to complete a tougher challenge. (Partners scores are put together and counted as their own score. Ex: Mario gets 8/10, Luigi gets 9/10. This causes both players to get a 17/10 on the challenge (x1, $20)
SHAP - Super Handicap Pass - Have a player have an automatic vote for 5 eliminations (x1, $50)
VP - Veil Pass - Hides your passes for 3 eliminations so no one knows you have them (x5, $20) SVP - Super Veil Pass - Hides your passes for 5 eliminations so no one knows you have them (5x, $40)
STOP - Shuffle Team Order Pass - Shuffles the team order (x1, $30)
SIP - Shuffle Item Pass - Shuffle the passes of everyone on your team (x2, $80)
ASP - Abolish Strike Pass - Rids of the strikes of chosen player (x1, $15)
SASP - Super Abolish Pass - Rids of strikes of 2 chosen players (x2, $30)
ASP2 - Abolish Strike Pass 2 - Rids of strikes of a chosen player and prevents them from getting a strike on the current/next challenge. (Results will say that they completed the challenge) (x4, $35)
DDP - Daredevil Pass - Gives you an automatic vote for 3 eliminations, but then keeps you safe for 5 eliminations. (x4, $70)
NUP - Nuke Pass - Get rid of half the money of EVERY player on a team of user's choice. Also force them to eliminate 2 players and have every player get rid of 1 pass. (If used during merge, every player of user's choice must do as above says.) (x1, $300)
FOAP - Forced Alliance Pass - After choosing a player, you cannot vote them, and they cannot vote you for 5 eliminations. If either of you vote each other, you will automatically be eliminated. (The vote will count, but you will be eliminated with no way of saving yourself. No passes can save you from elimination and you cannot cancel your vote once it has been sent. (x1, $30)
